[Zine] Tales of Belgisca Vol. 3 - Lakes Region


The third issue of our zine, "Tales of Belgisca", is out!

The third volume is dedicated to the "Lakes Region".

​It is 20 pages long and contains:

  • an introduction and a table of contents,

  • 1 page with general information about the Lakes Region,

  • 1 page about the hydrology of the region,

  • 1 page on the topic of ice trade,

  • 2 pages describing the city of Malmandara, with a map,

  • 2 pages about the Wood of the Hanged,

  • descriptions of 4 landmarks: the Rawartsone Castle, the Molzen cheese maker, the Angel Bridge and an encampment called Hatch Creek,

  • 1 page about the military camp found in the region,

  • 2 pages with the description and map of a dungeon (underground bunker),

  • 1 page about stagecoaches,

  • 1 page telling the story of the Saint Bernardus hermitage and chapel,

  • 1 page about gold panning,

  • 13 hand drawn black and white illustrations.



It is in A5 format and can easily be printed as a convenient booklet.


In all issues, the maps on the front cover are on the same scale, while the maps on the back cover have an optimal scale to fit the page.
