As promised in this article, we have just released our Megadungeon Generator!
This generator makes it easily to generate huge dungeons which stretch out both vertically and horizontally, with different entrances, connections between areas, factions of monsters and their relations.
This supplement contains: - 2 pages to generate the megadungeon's cross section, which consists of Areas and Levels (and the links between them); - 2 pages to generate Levels with corridors (length, features, end) and rooms (size, shape, type of content, chance of treasure, doors); - 2 pages about monsters (level, types of monsters, factions and their relations, wandering monsters); - 5 pages with a detailed example going through all the steps; - 1 printable megadungeon cross section template; - 1 black and white vector illustrations. This supplement is in A5 format and can easily be printed as a convenient booklet. |  |
As an exemple, we created a megadungeon of 5 Areas. Each Area has from 3 to 6 Levels located at different depths. The Level 1 of Area 1 has 28 rooms which are occupied by 2 factions of monsters: pixies and goblins. These monsters are currently at peace and might even trade. |  |
