Welcome to Karst Valley!
​In this region, water and geology have shaped the landscapes through centuries. As a result, there is now an enchanting valley filled with small rivers that sometimes disappear in the ground or form gentle waterfalls. Many caves dug out by now dried-up streams are yet to be explored. On the sides of the valley, woods left in a natural state abound with wild animals like squirrels, deers or boars, who sometimes venture in the plains to the south and east. People living in the villages punctuating the rivers will be happy to share a meal and stories with you if you pass by. The small city to the east is where people from all of the villages gather once a year for the start of the annual walk down to the valley. |  |
